WHAT YOUR WORDS CAN DO

WHAT YOUR WORDS CAN DO

FACTS ABOUT YOUR WORDS.

• Your words can totally destroy, shatter and weigh down a person’s life and your words can as well give people joy. Choose not to be like Elkannah who would always provoke Hannah to shed tears. She would mock her to the extent that Hannah would have no choice than to cry. Give people hope through your words. Don’t be the reason why someone will commit suicide. Give them hope no matter what they have been through.

• Words spoken cannot be retrieved.

Many have spoken and they are now regretting the statement they have uttered. Weigh your words before you speak. Exercise self-control. Don’t say words you will later regret you spoke. During the time of dispute, be careful not to utter statement that you will find it hard to swallow.

• Words can bring out life and death.

“Life and death are in the power of tongue, those who love it will eat the fruit thereof. ” – Prov 18:21.

Jesus said in loud voice “Lazarus, come forth.” And Lazarus that was dead came out. Speak life to that situation that looks dead. Speak to that dying business. Speak to that your child who is dying to come forth. Speak life. Refuse to give up irrespective of what you are going through. Do not let the devil trap you through your words.

Remain blessed.
