Four Things You Need To Know About Divine Lifting
God is indeed the lifter of men. Throughout the Word of God, there are instances of how God miraculously lifted His people out of spartan condition, thereby making them to inherit the throne of honour.
More so, God is the same forever (Mal 3:6). The one who has helped others is capable of helping whoever is ready to submit to His will. Most importantly, his mission towards the poor is irrevocably stated in 1 Samuel 2:8 thus;
”He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap: He seats them with princes and has them inherit the throne of honour…”
Therefore, there is no matter how poor you are, you can still be lifted by God. The Lord is still in the business of raising men from the dunghill and dust.
Paul Enenche: Divine Lifting By Divine Gifting
Here is an open invitation you have to accept from the One who has the power to raise men. Nobody else can raise you and sustain you without insidiously putting you to shame at the end.
All power, authority, dominion, wealth and honour belong to Him. So, He gives them to those who can depend on Him totally for their elevation in life. It was written concerning Nebuchadnezzar that God gave him greatness, glory and splendour.
O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar SOVEREIGNTY and GREATNESS and GLORY and SPLENDOUR.
Here Four Basic Things You Must Bear In Mind About Divine Lifting/Elevation
(1) Nobody Is Too Local To Be Lifted
1 Samuel 9:4
”Where is he?” the king asked. Ziba answered, ”He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel
According to this passage, Mephiboseth seemed not to have his own house. He was living in the house of Makir. The address of the house he was living was odd and probably unpopular in the Scriptures.
Yet, when God was ready to show His kindness to Mephiboseth. He did not allow his locality to hinder his blessing. Even his disability could not hinder his lifting. In other words, being uneducated, uncivilized and unlearned cannot hinder your elevation.
The crux of my message to you here is that, be hopeful for better days ahead.
Also, pray to the Lord to lift you irrespective of your weaknesses. Obed-Edom and his household were blessed within three months. They were poor before they received the Ark under their roof but they became blessed afterwards.
May the Lord raise you irrespective of your weaknesses in Jesus’ name.
(2) Nobody Is Too Old To Be Elevated
There are glories that have been destined to shine at night and there are glories that will shine early. Hence, don’t be discouraged because glorious days are ahead of you. But have a good relationship with the One who has the ability to lift men.
God did not show up to raise Abram until he clocked the age of 75 (Gen 12:4). The Almighty was looking at him living in his father’s house without doing anything about his situation until he clocked 75.
Nevertheless, the Lord is the same forever. Your age is not a barrier to your lifting. He can raise you despite your age.
May the Lord raise you right now in Jesus’ name. You will overtake all your peers who have gone ahead of you in Jesus’ name. You will thrive and your age will never be a barrier for your promotion.
(3) Nobody Is Too Young To Be Lifted
Joash became the king of Judah at the age of seven (2 Kings 11:21). Josiah became the king of Judah at the age of eight (2 Kings 22:1). Manasseh became a king at the age of twelve (2 Kings 21:1).
Don’t allow anyone deceive that you are too young to shine. You are aging every day, hence, you need to call upon the Lord for you to rise early. Listen, it is not too early for you if you get it right early in life.
You can be wealthy, honoured and lifted at the tender age of your life.
Facebook founder, Mark Zukerberg became the richest self-made billoniare at the age of 23 in 2007.
There are other young people achieving great feats despite being young. Be purposeful and keep pressing forward.
(4) Nobody Can Be Lifted Without Divine Connection
”Sir,” the invalid replied, ”I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
In the passage above, that invalid man wasted almost 38 years at the pool of Bethsaida without receiving healing. Why? There was no man to help him get to the pool where he could secure his healing.
If not for Jesus who miraculously visited him and raised him, he would have died in that position.
Divine lifting becomes inevitable when divine connection is in place. The lifting of man becomes impossible when he is not connected to the right people who can sponsor his vision.
Joseph could not become the prime minister of Egypt until the Cupbearer introduced him to Pharoah. Shedrack, Meshack and Abednego were promoted because they were connected to Daniel who was in position of power.
In conclusion, pray to God to connect you to great men whom God will use to raise you.
You need them! May they come to you and help you in Jesus’ name.
